Supporting Future Talent Through Our Apprenticeship Levy

Posted April 16, 2026

We’re incredibly proud to be using our apprenticeship levy to make a wider impact, supporting organisations that may not otherwise have access to this funding through our partnership with National Upskill.

Having worked closely with National Upskill for a number of years, they already deliver several of our own apprenticeship programmes. Now, we’re taking that partnership one step further by sponsoring apprenticeships for four inspiring organisations through our levy pot. We’re starting with the care and charity sectors, where these opportunities can make a real impact and support is needed most.

“Mach really is the gift that keeps on giving!” – that’s how our partners at National Upskill described us when we agreed to gift our apprenticeship levy.

Partnering with Scope

We’re delighted to begin by supporting Scope, an incredible charity doing meaningful work. As part of this, we’re funding two talented apprentices to join their team: one in Learning & Development and another as a Digital Accessibility Specialist, both key roles in helping to create more inclusive and accessible workplaces.

About Scope

Scope is a charity committed to creating a fair and equal society for disabled people. Their work focuses on transforming attitudes to disability, tackling injustice, and driving meaningful change. As part of a powerful movement of disabled people, allies, organisations, and businesses, Scope is on a mission to be unstoppable in what they believe in – and we’re proud to support that mission in our own small way.

Leading the Initiative

This initiative has been led and driven by our CSR and Training Manager, Lesley-Ann Harris, who has been instrumental in bringing this partnership to life.

“Being able to share our apprenticeship levy in this way is incredibly important to us. It’s about creating opportunities where they might not otherwise exist and supporting organisations doing truly meaningful work. Partnering with Scope is a fantastic example of how we can make a real difference – both for the apprentices and the communities they’ll go on to impact.”

Looking Ahead

We’re excited to see Scope’s apprenticeship programme grow and thrive. These opportunities will empower learners to develop their skills, build confidence, and make a real impact – both within the organisation and beyond.

This is just the beginning, and we look forward to sharing more about the other organisations we’re supporting through this initiative.

A huge thanks to Lesley-Ann Harris, our CSR & Training Manager, for leading this initiative, and to Stuart Prior & Mark Guiver and the team at National Upskill for their continued partnership.

The Benefits of an On-Site Recruitment Team

For many growing businesses, talent acquisition is one of the most pressing challenges. While external agencies and RPO models can offer flexible solutions, there's a compelling case to be made for having a recruitment team embedded directly on-site.
