We are looking for Food Production Operatives
Pay rate: from £12.80 basic
Night shift SA paid £1.20 an hour from 6pm till 6am. Capped at 39 hours
Location: Carlisle, CA1 3NQ (Cavaghan and Gray, Brunel House, Brunel Way)
About the Food Production Operative Role:
- Immediate start
- No experience needed
- Temp to perm opportunity
Shifts:
- Shifts: Days 6am - 6pm, nights 6pm - 6am, 6am-2pm, 2pm till 10pm and 10pm till 6am
- Shift allowance applicable after 12 weeks length of service: Days £0.25p an hour, afternoon shift £0.63p an hour and nights £1.00 per hour capped at 39 hours
- 4on 4off Nights + £1.70 per hour; 4on 4off Days + £1.10 per hour T&C apply
- OT applicable after 12 weeks length of service
Mach Recruitment is recruiting for several Food Production Operatives to work in a large food production and distribution site in Carlisle.
The Role:
As a Food Production Operative, you will be working within a food production environment and your duties will be as follows:
- Packing of customer product as per required specification
- Basic quality checks of product
- General production duties
- Some lifting of product
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to
- Work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements
- This is a fast-moving environment; all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the hygiene regulations at all times
- General duties outlined by your shift supervisor
Requirements:
As a Food Production Operative, you will have the following:
- Ability to start immediately and are looking for long-term work
- Previous food production experience not needed
