We are looking for Food Production Operatives
- Basic pay rate: £12.71 per hour
- Location: Willand
- Immediate start available
- No previous experience required
- Shift: 05:30 to 14:30 (bus leaves Newport at 03:20) or 15:30 to 00:00 (bus leaves Newport at 13:00)
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunities available after 12 weeks
Mach Recruitment is recruiting several Food Production Operatives to work at a large food production and distribution site in Willand.
The Role:
As a Food Production Operative, you will be working within a fast-paced food production environment. Your duties will include:
- Packing customer products in line with required specifications
- Carrying out basic quality checks on products
- General production duties
- Some lifting and manual handling of products
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and ensuring food hygiene procedures are followed
- Working effectively and safely in line with Health and Safety requirements
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with hygiene regulations at all times
- Completing general duties as instructed by your Shift Supervisor
Requirements:
As a Food Production Operative, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Available to start immediately and looking for long-term work
- Previous warehouse or food production experience is not required
- Able to work shifts of varying lengths
- Able to travel to Willand independently or use the available Newport bus service
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
